Abstract

In recent years, the study of domestic material life has become as one of the most dynamic and fruitful approaches to ancient Mesopotarnia economits. The present article aims to offer a panorama of the historiographical debate on the subject and to suggest some methodological directions for the use of family archives for considering the domestic economy.
